Hilde DeBruyne

Hilde DeBruyne is a studio artist who grew up in Ghent, Belgium and now resides in Iowa, USA. Clay has been her medium for over 20 years. She also designed projects in metal or bronze ( the Story of Black Elk).
Her clay sculptures are handbuilt. The rather abstract shapes are very simple, organic and streamlined with a strong tactile element.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is included in public and private collections.
Her work ranges from small scale to larger sized public art projects.
